1. Alphabet Chant! Use this chart to remember the alphabet and their sounds. Sound charts and chants are one of the best ways to remember letters and their sounds. 2. I Spy! "I spy a banana" - have your toddler find the banana and say the letter or the letter sound that goes with it. For a progression tactic, you can play I Spy with clues "I Spy a letter that comes before L but after J". 3. Matching Games! Get a second set of letters - this could be letter magnetics or just some pieces of paper torn apart with letters written on them. Have your toddler match the letter pieces or magnets to the letters on the chart.  4. Q & A ! Ask your toddler questions about the chart. "What letter comes with the kangaroo?" "What sound does the last letter of the alphabet make?" "Can you find the first letter of your name?" 5. Roll the Dice! Get a pair of dice and have your toddler roll. If you roll a 5, count out the first 5 letters of the alphabet and say the sound of the 5th letter.  The big picture here is to mix it up and have some fun! Use engaging activities your toddler enjoys and help them navigate through the chart. It's the best way to remember alphabetical order, letter sounds and letter recognition.
